Abby Pullan is a poet from West Yorkshire whose work cuts into the intersections of politics, memory, and survival. Her debut collection Bread & Blood confronts the fractures of contemporary Britain with raw lyricism, satire, and urgency, weaving together personal grief and collective struggle. Writing in a voice that is both fierce and vulnerable, her poetry experiments with fragmented form, repetition, and vivid imagery to expose societal decay and governmental failure while holding space for resilience. She has been published in Wingless Dreamer, Thirty West Publishing House, The Words Faire, Gyroscope Review, and the WILDsound Writing Festival. A student of English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Huddersfield, Abby also performs her work across local venues, bringing rhythm, sharp humour, and uncompromising critique to the stage.
