Scott Chaddon was born and raised amid the arctic desert of the Tanana Valley, less than 100 miles from the arctic circle. Long, dark winters kept people indoors most days. Despite these harsh conditions, Scott thrived. He lived to read, play table top RPGs and run the games himself. He earned a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and raised a family. Years later, he was forced south for health reasons and turned to writing. He earned several certificates from the University of Iowa in creative writing so he could share his thoughts, ideas and worlds with others.
